Doctors

Dr Sally Johnston (f) - MBBS (London 1982) DCH DRCOG MRCGP

Dr Johnston qualified from Guys in 1982, joining the practice in 1988. Her particular interests are paediatrics and women's health. Dr Johnston represents local GPs on the Local Medical Committee and relaxes by playing tennis when she can.

Dr Edward R J Reeves (m) - BA Hons(Oxon) MBBS (London 1991) DRCOG MRCGP

Dr Reeves qualified at St Thomas's in 1991 and joined the practice in 1999. Along with Dr Vines he trains GP Registrars. He has a particular interest in Minor Surgery. Dr Reeves represents the practice on the South West New Forest Locality Commissioning group and as a keen sailor he is also medical officer for the local RNLI.

Dr Annabel Arnold (f) - BSc MBBS (London 1992) DRCOG MRCGP

Dr Arnold qualified from University College Middlesex in 1992 and joined the practice in 1999. Dr Arnold enjoys paediatrics and women's health and takes an active part in training medical students from Southampton University. Dr Arnold represents the practice on the local Medicines Management group and enjoys many sporting activites.

Dr Ben H Vines (m) - BM (Southampton 1998) MRCGP

Dr Vines qualified from the University Hospital Southampton in 1998, joining the practice in 2006. Dr Vines has an interest in Diabetes and Minor Surgery and along with Dr Reeves he trains GP Registrars. He has competed nationally and internationally at many sailing events and sails whenever he has the opportunity!

Dr Wyn Roberts (m)

Dr Roberts joins the Practice as an Associate GP from August 2015. Many of you will know Dr Roberts from his time with as as a GP Registrar; we are very pleased that he has decided to remain with the practice.

Dr Daniel Darlington (m)

Dr Darlington joined us in August 2017 as a GP Registrar, a qualified doctor who has decided to pursue a career in General Practice. This is his third year of GP training and he has his own surgeries but will still be supervised by his GP trainer, Dr Ed Reeves.

Nursing Team

Mrs Jane Walton (f)

Jane completed nurse training in Hertfordshire in 1985, then spent 13 years in the Ambulance Service and qualified as a Paramedic. She moved to this area in 1998, and returned to nursing work at Lymington New Forest Hospital. Jane has been a practice nurse since 2004, and specialises in Respiratory care but is also experienced and interested in complex wound care, along with all aspects of practice nursing.

Mrs Linda Read (f)

RGN. Linda trained at Southampton General Hospital. Linda has over 30 years experience in the NHS and is interested in COPD, CHD and Child Immunisations.

Mrs Elizabeth Gedge

Elizabeth joined the Surgery in October 2017 and has extensive nursing experience

Admin Team

Mr David Royston - Practice Manager

David was appointed in June 2017 on the retirement of Jayne Tabor. Although he is new to the NHS he comes to us as a highly experienced business manager. He is responsible for all aspects of the practice and welcomes your comments.

Mrs Annie Royston - IT Manager

Annie joined the practice in 2001 having previously worked in banking. Annie manages and oversees all IT functions within the practice. Managing the recall of patients to disease clinics is just one of the many roles Annie performs as well as maintaining and safeguarding all the computerised data.

Mrs Elisabeth Thorne - Patient Services Manager

Liz has recently joined the Practice with a wealth of experience in hospital department management.

Community Nurses

Community Nurses are available for home nursing care for the permanent or temporarily housebound. Their services can be arranged through your Doctor, or by leaving a message at the Integrated Single Point of Access (ISPA) on 01425 623802.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors are specially trained to advise on the care of children and nursing mothers. They provide weekly Child Health Clinics.  Requests for help should be made by telephone on 01590 689275.

Community Midwives

Community Midwives assist with all aspects of maternity care. They can be contacted 24 hours a day by telephoning 023 8074 7690.
