Specsavers Home Visit

DID YOU KNOW THAT SPECSAVERS OFFER A HOME VISIT SERVICE?

Our local partners Julie Benson and Sophie Mullins would like to invite our patients to meet their team and find out more about how Specsavers Home Visits can help prevent sight loss and also learn how they provide advanced eye care services on behalf of the NHS in the community.

At-home eye tests are very similar to the ones you would have experienced in-store, just with a few adjustments and specialist equipment to make them home-friendly. All of the visiting opticians are fully experienced in conducting eye tests at home, so you can be sure you, or someone you care for, will receive the same care and attention you’re used to.  If someone you know is unable to leave home unaccompanied due to physical or mental illness or disability you can call the direct number 02382 546969 or email sophie.mullins@specsavers.com to find out more.

Regular eye checks are important as eye health matters. Our eyes are the most important sense we have as 80% of what we perceive comes from what we see. Seeking advice and support from an optician is not just about identifying if glasses are required but can also check for a range of general health problems including: High blood pressure, Diabetes, Heart disease, Multiple Sclerosis and further conditions.

Julie’s and Sophie’s team are local so this means any appointments can be carried out quickly and efficiently. They are specially trained is dealing with people with communication and mobility difficulties.
