Dr Reeves qualified at St John's College, Oxford and St Thomas's in 1991 and joined the practice in 1999. Along with Dr Vines he trains GP Registrars. He has a particular interest in Minor Surgery and as a keen sailor he is also medical officer for the local RNLI.

Dr Vines qualified from the University Hospital Southampton in 1998, joining the practice in 2006. Dr Vines has an interest in Diabetes and Minor Surgery and along with Dr Reeves he trains GP Registrars. He has competed nationally and internationally at many sailing events and sails whenever he has the opportunity!

Dr Wyn Roberts (m)
MBChB (Leicester 2010) MRCGP

Dr Roberts qualified from the University of Leicester in 2010. He completed his GP training at Chawton House Surgery in 2015 and became a Partner in 2018. He is Clinical Lead for The Practice at Lymington New Forest Hospital and has a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine. He is a keen sportsman and participates in rugby and athletic events whenever he can.

Dr McEwen joined the practice in 2021 after working as a GP in London for many years. Her professional interests include training and education (she is a Programme Director for the Guy’s and St Thomas’ GP training scheme), women’s health, paediatric and adolescent medicine, and palliative care. She is a keen sailor and spends much of her time on and around the water with her busy family. She became a Partner in March 2023 upon Dr Annabel Arnold's retirement.

Dr Johnston qualified from Guys in 1982, joining the practice in 1988, she is Chair of Hants & the IOW Local Medical Committee and is Clinical Director of the New Forest PCN. Although no longer a senior partner at the Practice, Dr Johnston is still a GP here though she does fewer sessions. Sally relaxes by playing tennis and spending time with her increasing number of grandchildren when she can.

Dr Green started here in August of 2022. He completed his GP training at the surgery and decided to stay and practice at Chawton House as a Salaried GP. He is a keen musician and is kept busy by family life.

Catherine joined us in 2020. She trained at the Red Cross School of Nursing in Brittany and moved to the UK in 1999. She has worked in Hospices both in France and England and has been a Practice Nurse since 2006.

Annie joined the practice in 2001 having previously worked in banking. She manages and oversees all IT functions within the practice. Managing the recall of patients to disease clinics is just one of the many roles she performs as well as maintaining and safeguarding all the computerised data.

Community Nurses are available for home nursing care for the permanent or temporarily housebound. Their services can be arranged through your Doctor, or by leaving a message at the Integrated Single Point of Access (ISPA) on 0300 121 0175.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors are specially trained to advise on the care of children and nursing mothers. They provide weekly Child Health Clinics. Requests for help should be made by telephone on 02382 311580.
